We ask the same questions of your current quote and any BCE alternative. A missing answer is not an accusation. It is simply something to resolve before you commit.

    Who takes your money, who supplies the equipment and who is responsible for the installation and aftercare?

    Exact equipment

    Model numbers, quantities, usable battery capacity, backup scope and mounting system should be written clearly.

    Design basis

    Separate customer supplied facts from estimates about usage, shade, roof access, switchboard work and future loads.

    Network and site checks

    Identify what the DNSP, site inspection or licensed tradesperson must still confirm and who owns each action.

    Price boundary

    Check what is included, what can vary, how incentives are treated and what would trigger a written variation.

    Warranty path

    Record the product, workmanship and service contacts, plus what happens if the original seller is unavailable.
